강원 양구군은 올해 적극적인 스포츠마케팅으로 거둔 경제적인 효과가 186억원으로 분석됐다고 26일 밝혔다.
직후 포효하는 김민재를 본 AC밀란의 전설적 수비수 파올로 말디니가 관중석에서 절망하는 장면이 중계 카메라에 잡혀 화제가 되기도 했다.
동 시스템은 위험예지 활동 및 후속조치, 안전목표 및 추진계획, 교육훈련, 각 참가자의 의사소통체계 수립, 비상시 대비 및 대응절차 등 다양한 부문을 포함하고 있다.총판왕빙(王兵) 베이징 융화이(詠懷)체육발전연구원 원장은 "공원에서 지역사회, 사무실에서 가정, 오프라인에서 온라인까지 스포츠 활동 방식에 따라 걷기·달리기·농구·마라톤 등과 같은 스포츠 종목이 사람들의 일상생활에 파고들었다"며 "도시와 농촌을 막론하고 스포츠를 즐기는 사람들을 어디에서나 볼 수 있다"고 밝혔다.
한편 전국 각지에서 지역만의 특색을 담아 개최하는 다양한 대회들은 전 국민의 스포츠 활동 열풍을 이끄는 소프트웨어적 요소로 꼽힌다. 수십 년의 역사를 지닌 베이징 마라톤, 샤먼廈門) 마라톤, 항저우(杭州) 마라톤 등 특화된 대회들은 스포츠 마니아들에게 더 많은 무대와 플랫폼을 제공해 주고 있다.
올여름 나폴리에 합류한 김민재는 개막 15경기 무패, 11연승 행진에 큰 힘을 보태고 있다.김민재는 세리에A, 유럽축구연맹(UEFA) 챔피언스리그(UCL) 등 공식전에 14경기 연속 풀타임 출전하며 수비의 핵으로 자리 잡았다.
올해는 중국이 추진한 전 국민 스포츠 활동 사업이 큰 성과를 거둔 한 해로 평가받는다.
우선 스포츠 경기장 건설과 운동 기구 확충이 대표적인 하드웨어적 요소로 손꼽힌다.
지난해는 176억원으로 회복세를 보였으며, 올해 186억원의 경제효과를 보이면서 코로나 이전의 모습으로 더욱 더 회복하는 모양새를 보이고 있다.
◇스포츠 활동 열기 뜨거워
지난해 발표된 통계에 따르면 중국에서 운동을 자주 하는 사람의 수가 4억 명을 넘어섰으며 '국민 체질 측정 표준' 합격선 이상인 도시와 농촌 주민의 비율 역시 90%를 웃돌았다. 이외에도 중국 전역의 스포츠 경기장 수가 총 397만1천 개에 달하고 스포츠 경기장 면적은 34억1천만㎡에 이르는 것으로 나타났다.
후반 25분 루카스 모라의 도움을 받아 득점포를 가동했고, 후반 30분엔 '손흥민 존'으로 불리는 페널티 아크 왼쪽에서 오른발 감아차기로 한 골을 더해 울버햄프턴을 상대로 1골을 넣은 살라흐와 어깨를 나란히 했다.리그의 23골과 유럽축구연맹(UEFA) 유로파 콘퍼런스리그의 1골을 더해 전체 공식전에서 총 24골을 넣은 그는 2020-2021시즌에 작성했던 개인 최다 득점 기록(리그 17골·공식전 전체 22골)을 모두 재차 경신했다.
또 10개 종목 77개의 전지훈련팀을 유치해 1만7779명이 방문해 12억원의 경제효과를 거둔 것으로 분석했다.토토총판서흥원 양구군수는 "스포츠마케팅을 통한 직간접적인 경제효과를 더욱 높여 모든 군민들이 체감할 수 있도록 하겠다"며, "스포츠관광도시로서의 양구군 브랜드 가치를 높이는 일에 최선의 노력을 기울이겠다"고 말했다.
배드민턴이나 테니스도 어깨와 팔을 많이 쓰는 운동이다. 라켓을 위로 들어 옆이나 아래로 강하게 내려치는 스매싱 동작을 반복하면 팔꿈치 과사용으로 테니스엘보를 겪기도 한다. 팔꿈치 바깥쪽 뼈와 근육이 만나는 힘줄에 염증이 생기는 질환으로 주먹을 쥔 상태에서 손목을 뒤로 젖힐 때 통증이 있다면 이 질환을 의심해볼 수 있다.
중국 국가 통계국에 따르면 지난해 10월 기준 중국 빙설 스포츠 참여자는 3억4천600만 명에 달했다. 이로써 '빙설 스포츠 인구 3억 명' 목표가 달성돼 전 국민 스포츠 활동의 콘텐츠를 더 풍부하게 만들 수 있는 여건이 조성됐다. 또한 관련 정책이 시행돼 전 국민 스포츠 활동 사업의 발전에 제도적 기반을 마련해 주었고, 다양한 스포츠 활동이 개최돼 대중들이 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 장이 마련됐다.
시즌 막바지 살라흐와 치열한 득점왕 경쟁을 벌이던 손흥민은 21골로 살라흐를 한 골 차로 뒤쫓는 가운데 맞이한 5월 23일(한국시간) 노리치시티와의 리그 최종 38라운드에서 멀티 골을 터뜨리며 당당히 득점 1위 자리를 꿰찼다.
사전경기로 치러진 배드민턴의 우승을 시작으로 유도, 사격, 궁도 등 투기종목에서 우수한 성적을 거두었고, 꾸준히 좋은 성적을 내주는 수영, 골프, 산악에서는 4위를 기록해 든든하게 뒤를 받쳐주었다. 보디빌딩, 우슈 복싱 종목도 깜짝 활약을 해주었고, 특히 아마추어로 구성된 성의여고 배구팀은 강호 구미시를 만나 멋진 경기를 펼친 끝에 짜릿한 우승을 차지했다.
2022년 카타르 월드컵은 끝났지만, 개최지를 둘러싼 불편한 이야기는 아직 계속되고 있다. 카타르는 현대판 노예제로 불리는 가혹한 고용계약 시스템인 카팔라와 성 소수자·여성 차별 등 인권 문제를 뜨거운 축제 열기로 가리는 데 성공했다. 스포츠 워싱 효과를 확인한 카타르는 2023년 아시안컵과 2030년 하계 아시안게임 유치를 확정한 데 이어 2036년 하계올림픽도 욕심을 내고 있다.
대한배구협회는 26일 "문화체육관광부 소관 공익재단법인인 스포츠안전재단에서 ISO HLS(High Level Structure) 기반으로 개발한 스포츠이벤트 안전경영시스템 인증을 구기종목 최초로 취득했다"고 밝혔다.총판모집클라이밍은 각자 신체 특성과 체력에 맞춰 난이도를 조절할 수 있어 초보자나 근력이 약한 사람, 노약자도 충분히 즐길 수 있다. 다만 팔로 매달려 체중을 버티며 홀드를 이동하는 과정이 반복되기 때문에 자기 몸이 버티는 수준을 정확히 파악해야 한다. 암벽에 매달리기 위해 어깨를 많이 쓰는 클라이밍의 특성상 너무 많은 힘이 어깨에 가해지면 염좌나 심한 경우 회전근개파열이 발생할 수 있다.
최근 수년간 중국 여러 지역에서는 '거주지 15분 이내에 스포츠 시설 구축'에 나서며 사람들에게 운동할 수 있는 장소를 마련해 주고 있다. 또한 중앙 재정 자금의 투입이나 지역 정부의 재정 지원을 늘려 더 많은 스포츠 시설을 무료 혹은 저렴한 비용으로 대중에게 개방하고 있다. 대표적으로 상하이시 체육국은 올해와 내년에 걸쳐 약 4천만 위안(약 73억2천만원)의 재정을 투입해 스포츠 소비쿠폰을 배포하거나 700개가 넘는 다양한 체육관을 시민들에게 할인된 가격으로 개방할 방침이다.
◇지속적인 지원 시스템 개선
◇ 우량대회 적극 유치를 통해 지역경제에 도움을 주는 스포츠마케팅 펼쳐
손흥민은 올해 5월까지 열린 2021-2022시즌 EPL에서 총 23골을 터뜨려 이집트 출신의 골잡이 무함마드 살라흐(리버풀)와 공동 득점왕을 차지했다.잉글랜드를 비롯해 유럽 프로축구 '5대 빅리그'로 불리는 스페인, 독일, 이탈리아, 프랑스를 통틀어봐도 아시아인이 득점왕에 오른 건 전례가 없는 일로, 손흥민은 아시아 축구의 새 역사를 창조했다.
인증을 위해 협회는 지난 9월부터 스포츠안전재단과 수차례 긴말한 업무협의를 가졌으며, 11월 4일 서류심사를 거쳐 11월 19, 20일 양일간 개최된 2022 전국4인제배구대회에서 현장심사를 마쳤다.
카타르의 성공은 인권유린 문제에서 자유롭지 못한 이웃 사우디아라비아를 부추겼다. 반체제 언론인인 자말 카슈끄지 살해 사건으로 비판받는 사우디아라비아는 2030년 월드컵 개최를 노리고 있다. 막대한 금액을 들여 축구 스타 크리스티아누 호날두를 영입하려는 것도 이 때문이다. 순수한 인간 정신에 바탕을 두어야 하는 스포츠가 정치적 목적을 위한 수단으로 전락하는 것 같아 뒷맛이 개운치 않다.
중국 베이징 궈안을 거쳐 지난해 8월 튀르키예 페네르바체 유니폼을 입은 김민재는 착실히 빅리그가 있는 서쪽으로 한발씩 나아갔다.
국내 수비수 중 처음으로 이탈리아로 향한 김민재는 첼시(잉글랜드)로 떠난 '터줏대감' 칼리두 쿨리발리(31)의 공백을 완벽하게 메웠다는 평을 받는다.총판먹튀왕 원장은 "전 국민 스포츠 활동 사업의 발전이 국민들의 신체 건강과 행복한 생활에 직결된다"며 "이는 경쟁력 있는 스포츠 인재 발굴의 근간이 될 뿐 아니라 스포츠 산업의 발전에 원동력으로 작용할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
김천시가 전략종목으로 유치하고 있는 수영대회는 저비용·고효율 효과를 내는 가장 대표적인 종목으로 매년 많은 선수들이 참가하여 지역경제 활성화에 크게 기여하고 있어 효자역할을 톡톡히 하고 있다. 제12회 김천전국수영대회를 비롯해 제18회 꿈나무 전국수영대회, 2022 교보생명컵 꿈나무 수영대회, 수영 국가대표 선발대회, 제94회 동아수영대회 등 대규모 수영대회를 차례로 개최하여 수영도시 김천 이미지를 다시 한 번 각인시켰고, 지역경제 활성화에도 크게 이바지했다.

손흥민은 EPL 한 시즌 23골로 '한국 선수 단일 시즌 유럽 리그 최다 득점자' 타이틀도 홀로 지니게 됐다.
월드컵이나 올림픽 같은 대형 국제 스포츠 행사가 30년 전에는 대부분 민주주의 국가에서 개최됐다. 그러나 10년 전부터는 권위주의 국가에서 열리는 횟수가 급속히 늘어났다. 덴마크 코펜하겐대학 아담 샤르프 교수가 이끄는 연구팀의 연구 결과다. 연구팀에 따르면 권위주의 국가에서 열린 국제 스포츠 행사의 비율이 1989∼2012년에는 15였으나, 그 이후 2022년까지 37로 상승했다. 민주주의 국가가 막대한 재원이 필요하고 환경 문제가 수반되는 국제 스포츠 행사 개최를 점점 부담스러워하면서 권위주의 국가가 그 빈틈을 메우고 있다는 것이다.이런 현상은 ‘스포츠 워싱’을 설명하는 데도 아주 유용하다. 스포츠 워싱은 독재, 인권탄압 등으로 나빠진 국가 이미지를 스포츠 이벤트로 세탁하는 것을 말한다. 그 대표적인 예가 1978년 아르헨티나 월드컵이다. 당시 아르헨티나는 1976년 쿠데타로 집권한 악명 높은 호르헤 비델라 군사정권이 통치하고 있었다. 비델라 대통령은 국제축구연맹(FIFA)과 손잡고 월드컵 개최로 이미지 쇄신을 꾀했고 우승까지 차지하며 크게 성공했다. 2015년에는 고문과 인권침해로 비판을 받던 아제르바이잔이 포뮬러원(F1) 그랑프리, 유럽축구연맹(UEFA) 유로파 리그 결승전 등을 잇달아 유치하면서 스포츠 워싱 논란에 직면했다.
아울러 손흥민은 이란의 알리레자 자한바흐시(현 페예노르트)가 AZ알크마르 소속으로 2017-2018시즌 네덜란드 에레디비시에서 넣은 21골을 앞질러 아시아 선수의 유럽 프로축구 1부리그 한 시즌 최다 골 기록도 새로 썼다.
운동 전후에는 어깨와 팔을 충분히 풀어주는 것이 좋다. 적당한 운동 시간을 지키며, 정확한 자세를 구사하고 과도한 힘을 주지 않는다. 고무공 등을 이용해 평소 손목과 팔꿈치 사이 근육과 악력을 강화하면 부상 방지에 도움이 된다.
◇제도적 지원 계속돼
이전까진 2020-2021시즌의 손흥민과 1985-1986시즌 독일 레버쿠젠 소속의 차범근 전 국가대표팀 감독이 남긴 17골이 이 부문 최다 타이기록이었다.
전 국민 스포츠 활동 열풍의 배경에는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어적 시스템 지원이 있다.
탁구나 테니스는 공을 받아내기 위해 갑자기 방향을 바꾸거나 점프 및 착지를 반복하면서 순간적으로 발목 염좌가 발생할 수 있다. 관절이 정상 운동 범위를 넘어 비틀리거나 접질려 인대나 건(힘줄)이 손상되는 발목 염좌는 급성 통증을 야기한다. 심한 경우 관절 활액막이 찢어지고 발목 관절 연골까지 손상될 수 있다. 스텝 시에는 가급적 발에 힘을 빼고 가볍게 움직일 필요가 있다. 부상이 심하지 않으면 얼음으로 냉찜질을 해주고 붕대로 압박해 휴식을 취하면 통증이 완화된다.
이는 양구군인구의 10배가 훌쩍 넘는 수치로 대회 개최일수로 보면, 423일로 1년 365일을 또한 크게 상회하는 수치이다.
올해 이 같은 제도는 점점 더 확대됐다. 올 3월 중국 정부는 '수준 높은 전 국민 신체 단련 공공서비스 시스템 구축에 관한 의견'을 발표해 2035년까지 사회주의 현대화 국가에 부합하는 전 국민 스포츠 활동 공공 서비스 시스템을 전면 건설한다는 목표를 수립했다.
K리그 전북 현대에서 뛴 김민재는 결국 빅리그를 향한 '서진'을 완성했다.
그리고 트랙, 필드, 마라톤 3개 종목의 점수가 걸려있는 중요한 육상종목에서는 실업팀을 보유한 8개시를 상대로 준수한 성적을 내준 한일여고 학생들의 투혼의 질주가 빛났다. 그밖에 모든 선수들이 순위경쟁에 중요한 승부처마다 혼신을 다해 좋은 경기를 펼쳐주었다.
지난 7월 15일부터 4일간 포항시에서 개최된 제60회 경북도민체전에서 김천시는 28개 종목에 830명의 선수단이 출전하여 8년 만에 시부 종합 5위를 달성했다. 또한 지난 대회에 비해 크게 약진한 지자체에 주어지는 성취상도 수상했다.
2012 런던올림픽, 2016 리우올림픽 및 2018 평창동계올림픽 안전인증을 담당한 SGS의 한국지사인 한국에스지에스 주식회사에서 심사를 담당했다.김천시는 올 한 해 스포츠대회 및 행사로 풍성한 한해를 보냈다. 2022 김천시민체육대회 개최, 제60회 경북도민체전 시부 종합 5위 달성, 제63회 경북도민체전 김천시 유치, 제12회 김천전국 수영대회, 제38회 교보생명 꿈나무 체육대회 등 43개의 전국단위 대회 개최, 30개 팀의 전지훈련 유치를 통해 스포츠 중심도시 김천의 명성을 굳건히 다졌다.총판노하우최근 수년간 전 국민 스포츠 활동 추진에 관한 정책과 제도 역시 꾸준히 개선돼 왔다. 2016년에는 '건강 중국 2030 계획 요강', 2019년에는 '체육 강국 건설 요강'이 발표됐으며 지난해에는 '전 국민 신체 단련 계획(2021~2025년)'이 제정됐다. 그리고 이러한 정책은 전 국민 스포츠 활동 사업의 발전에 길잡이 역할을 수행했다.
잉글랜드 프로축구 프리미어리그(EPL)의 손흥민(30·토트넘)과 더불어 '축구의 본산' 유럽 무대에서 정상급으로 발돋움한 우리나라 선수가 또 한 명 등장했다.
군은 스포츠마케팅의 내실화를 위해 올해 스포츠재단을 창립했으며, 양구 종합스포츠타운과 제2실내테니스장, 종합체육공원 조성 등 스포츠시설의 최신화 첨단화를 통해 스포츠마케팅을 통한 경제활성화에 더욱 힘을 실을 계획이다.
경북도민체전은 23개 시·군에서 시범종목을 포함한 29개 종목, 2만 5천여 명의 선수단이 참가하는 도내 최대의 체육대회로, 김천시는 지난 2013년 제51회 경북도민체육대회 개최 이후, 12년 만에 도민체육대회를 유치하는 성과를 거뒀다. 도민체전 유치 시 경북장애인체전, 경북생활대축전, 경북어르신생활체육대회까지 연이어 개최되어, 이는 관내 숙박업소 및 음식점을 비롯한 시 전반에 걸친 경제적 파급효과가 상당할 것으로 기대된다.
이어서 진행된 운동경기는 읍면동 대항의 일반부와 학생부, 장애인부, 여성단체로 나누어 승부차기, 한궁, 단체줄넘기 등 12개 종목으로 진행되었으며, 오후에는 읍면동의 시민대표가 참가한 시민노래자랑이 개최되었고, 진성, 장윤정의 흥겨운 축하공연이 이어졌다.
코로나19로 인해 3년 만에 개최된 이번 대회는 3만명 이상의 시민이 참여한 가운데 대한태권도협회의 화려한 시범공연과 싸이버거의 공연으로 시민체전의 시작을 알렸다. 뒤이어 시청 취타대와 김천시캐릭터, 42개 종목 단체의 기수단을 필두로 22개 읍면동의 특색 있는 아이디어로 구성된 입장식 퍼포먼스가 이어졌다. 체전의 하이라이트인 성화점화는 코로나19 극복과 체육발전의 유공자들로 구성된 4개팀 19명의 성화주자들을 거쳐 성화대의 불꽃이 피어올랐으며, 개회식 행사 후에는 박군과 김연자의 축하공연으로 시민들의 흥을 돋웠다.
세계 최고의 프로축구 리그로 꼽히는 잉글랜드 프리미어리그(EPL)에서 아시아 선수 최초로 득점왕에 오른 것이다.
양구군에 따르면 2022년 18개 종목 108개 대회를 유치해 24만9860명이 방문해 174억원의 경제효과를 거둔 것으로 나타났다.
야외운동이 힘든 겨울에는 탁구, 테니스, 배드민턴 등 실내 스포츠를 즐기는 인구가 늘어난다. 올림픽 정식종목으로 채택된 클라이밍 또한 일반인들의 관심과 수요가 높아져 날씨와 관계없이 즐길 수 있는 실내운동으로 인기를 얻고 있다. 야외운동보다 안전하다는 생각에 방심하기 쉽지만 이러한 실내운동 역시 활동량이 많고 관절과 근육을 폭넓게 사용하기 때문에 자칫 부상을 입을 수 있어 각별한 주의가 필요하다.총판커뮤니티덕분에 지난 시즌 3위 나폴리는 리그 1위(13승 2무·승점 41)를 질주하고 있다.
베이징 동계 올림픽 후 맞는 첫 번째 겨울. 빙설 스포츠에 대한 시민들의 열기는 여전히 뜨겁다. 허베이(河北)성 장자커우(張家口)시 충리(崇禮)구는 동계 올림픽 우승자가 탔던 슬로프에서 스키를 타기 위해 찾아온 스키 마니아들로 붐비고 있다. 광시(廣西)좡족자치구 난닝(南寧)시는 눈이 거의 내리지 않는 도시지만 주말이면 약 2천~4천 명(연인원)의 사람들이 아이스링크장을 찾는다. 최근 수년간 아이스링크 회원 수가 매년 10~20%의 속도로 늘고 있고 현재 등록 회원 수만 3만여 명에 달한다.
11만평의 종합스포츠타운을 비롯한 전국 최고의 체육시설 인프라와 중부내륙고속도로, 경부고속도로 및 KTX김천(구미)역의 뛰어난 교통 접근성을 가진 김천시는 2006년 제87회 전국체전, 제27회 전국장애인체전, 제36회 전국소년체전과 2000년 제38회, 2013년 제51회 경북도민체전을 성공적으로 치렀고, 매년 40~50여개의 국제 및 전국단위의 대회를 유치 및 개최하며 풍부한 대회운영 노하우를 통해 도민체전 개최 최적지로 평가받고 있다.
스포츠 활동 열기는 비단 빙설 스포츠나 일부 도시에만 국한되지 않는다. 하이난(海南)성 하이커우(海口)시의 농민들은 매년 수확철을 맞이해 운동회를 열고 있다. 경작∙추수 등의 상황을 소재로 하는 운동회 프로그램은 해당 지역 주민 사이에서 큰 인기를 끌고 있다. 후베이(湖北)성 바오캉(保康)현 마차오(馬橋)진의 한 마을에서는 '청량 마라톤' 대회가 열려 800여 명의 장거리 주자들이 삼림 피복률 92% 이상, 평균 해발고도 1천600m에 달하는 산악지대에서 경주를 펼치기도 한다.
군은 2017년부터 2019년까지 3년 연속으로 스포츠마케팅으로 인한 경제효과가 200억원을 상회한 것으로 나타났지만, 2020년은 코로나19가 발생하면서 110억여 원으로 크게 감소했다.
◇ 2025년 제63회 경북도민체전 김천시 유치 확정으로 지역경제 활성화 기대
또한 전국 최고 수준의 시설을 자랑하는 김천종합스포츠타운에서는 수영을 비롯한 테니스, 스쿼시 등 스포츠 프로그램을 운영해 시민건강 증진을 도모하고, 앞으로 노후 경기장시설 개보수와 함께 제2스포츠타운이 조성 되면 매년 60여 개의 전국단위대회를 개최할 수 있어 연중 스포츠가 함께 하는 활력 넘치는 도시로 거듭날 것이다.
작은 공을 쉴 새 없이 주고받는 탁구는 어깨와 팔, 손목 동작이 많고 격렬하다. 빠르게 움직이는 공을 받아내기 위해 팔을 올리고 내리는 동작을 반복하면 어깨힘줄과 견봉 사이에 마찰이 발생해 충돌 증후군이 생기고 회전근개의 손상으로 이어질 수 있다. 라켓을 여러 방향으로 트는 탁구의 특성상 손목 염좌도 조심해야 한다. 특히 어깨나 다리를 함께 쓰지 않고 팔만 사용하는 초보자들이 손목 부상을 입기 쉽다.총판구인구직 특히 9월 19일 디펜딩 챔피언 AC밀란전(2-1 승)에는 무려 11차례나 위험 지역에서 공을 걷어내며 활약했다.태클을 3회 성공하고 상대 슈팅도 4회 저지했는데 전부 팀 내 최고 수치다.
◇ 제60회 경북도민체전에서 8년 만에 시부 종합5위 달성, 성취상 수상
김민재는 세리에A '9월의 선수'로 뽑히며 세계적 수비수로 공인받았다. 아시아 선수가 세리에A 이달의 선수에 선정된 건 최초다.
대한배구협회가 스포츠이벤트 안전경영시스템(KSSF20211) 인증을 받아 주최하는 각종 대회 안정성을 한층 강화할 수 있게 됐다.
도움은 EPL에서 7개, 콘퍼런스리그에서는 1개를 기록, 전체 공식전에서 총 32개(24골 8도움)의 공격 포인트를 남겼다.
